सुमारे चार दशकांचा प्रदीर्घ आणि प्रगल्भ अनुभव असलेल्या श्री. रवींद्र कामठे यांची ओळख एक अत्यंत कर्तृत्ववान आणि ध्येयवादी अधिकारी म्हणून आहे. त्यांचा व्यावसायिक आलेख खालीलप्रमाणे राहिला आहे:

१९८३ - १९९९: विविध नावाजलेल्या अभियांत्रिकी संस्थांमध्ये व्यवस्थापन स्तरावर अधिकारी म्हणून महत्त्वपूर्ण जबाबदाऱ्या पार पाडल्या. (भक्कम तांत्रिक आणि व्यवस्थापकीय पाया).

२००० - २००८: माहिती तंत्रज्ञान (IT) शिक्षण आणि प्रशिक्षण क्षेत्रात अधिकारी म्हणून कार्यरत राहून तत्कालीन युवा पिढीला तंत्रज्ञानाशी जोडण्याचे कार्य केले.

२००८ - २०१९: VINSYS या नामांकित संस्थेत Vice President - Operations (उपाध्यक्ष - परिचालन) या अत्यंत वरिष्ठ पदावर कार्यरत. संस्थेच्या जडणघडणीत आणि विस्तारामध्ये सिंहाचा वाटा.

२०१९: व्यावसायिक यशाच्या शिखरावर असताना, आपल्या सुप्त वाङ्मयीन आवडीला वेळ देण्यासाठी स्वेच्छानिवृत्ती (VRS) स्वीकारली आणि पूर्णवेळ मराठी साहित्य क्षेत्रात सक्रिय झाले.

२०२३ पासून: त्यांच्या अफाट अनुभवाची दखल घेत, VINSYS IT SERVICES INDIA LTD. या जागतिक स्तरावरील IT संस्थेने त्यांची संचालक (Director) म्हणून नियुक्ती केली. आज ते संस्थेला धोरणात्मक दिशा देण्याचे कार्य करत आहेत.

शेतीविषयक लेखन: अखिल भारतीय मराठी शेतकरी संमेलन, मुंबई (फेब्रुवारी २०१७) मध्ये 'मागोवा' सत्रातील लेखनास प्रथम क्रमांकाचा पुरस्कार.

'विळखा कर्जाचा' (कविता): ६व्या अखिल भारतीय मराठी शेतकरी साहित्य संमेलन, अलिबाग येथे तृतीय पुरस्कार.
