आजकाल रोजचा सूर्य उगवतो तोच मुळी काळजाला चीर पडणाऱ्या बातम्यांच्या काळोखात. वर्तमानपत्राची पाने उघडावीत तर तिथे रक्ताचे डाग दिसतात आणि सोशल मीडियावर माणुसकी विवस्त्र झालेली दिसते. कोण्या तान्हुलीचे अपहरण, कोण्या भगिनीचा लिलाव, तर कुठे कोवळ्या कळ्यांना वेश्या व्यवसायाच्या नरकात ढकलणारे रॅकेट! हे वाचून रक्ताचे पाणी होत नसेल, तर समजून जावे की, आपण जिवंत असूनही प्रेतवत झालो आहोत. सोशल मीडियावर दोन दिवस 'कँडल मार्च'चे स्टेटस ठेवले की आपली जबाबदारी संपते का?
अशा वेळी मनाच्या गाभाऱ्यात एकच प्रश्न विजेसारखा कडाडतो - जर आज शिवछत्रपती असते, तर?
तर हा माणुसकीचा, देहाचा आणि लज्जेचा बाजार भरवणाऱ्या नराधमांचे त्यांनी काय केले असते?
समर्थ रामदासांनी म्हटले आहे, 'शिवरायांचे आठवावे रूप'; पण आता वैयक्तिक जीवनातील आदर्श सोडून त्यांचा गुन्हेगारांवर असणारा सामाजिक धाक आठवावा लागणार आहे. आणि तो फक्त आठवून चालणार नाही, तर अगदी तसाच किंवा त्याहूनही अधिक ताकदवर रीतीने निर्माण करावा लागणार आहे. आजच्या तरुणांच्या मनगटात ती शक्ती आहे आणि तेवढी बुद्धीदेखील आहे; गरज आहे ती फक्त इच्छाशक्तीची.
जर आज महाराज असते, तर त्यांनी पोलिसांच्या एफ.आय.आर. ची वाट पाहिली नसती किंवा न्यायालयाच्या तारखांवर तारखा पडू दिल्या नसत्या. स्त्री ही या राष्ट्राची 'देवता' आणि मुले ही या राष्ट्राची 'संपत्ती' आहेत, हे ज्यांच्या राजनीतीचे पहिले कलम होते, ते महाराज या मानवी तस्करीकडे फक्त बघत किंवा त्या विषयावरील तज्ज्ञांचे विश्लेषण वाचून निर्णय घेत बसले नसते. न्यायाधीशांकडेदेखील अपवादात्मक परिस्थितीमध्ये 'लॉ बुक'मधील कुठल्याही कलमात नसलेल्या 'नॅच्युरल लॉ'नुसार (नैसर्गिक न्याय) निर्णय घेण्याची मुभा असतेच.
आजच्या व्यवस्थेत गुन्हेगार जामिनावर सुटतात, पण आज जर महाराज असते, तर लहान मुलांची तस्करी करणाऱ्या, त्यांना भीक मागायला लावणाऱ्या आणि आयाबायांची विक्री करणाऱ्या दलालांचे हात-पाय तोडून त्यांना चौकात बसवले असते. त्यांच्या गळ्यात पाटी लावली असती - "स्वराज्यातील लेकीबाळींकडे वाकड्या नजरेने पाहणाऱ्याची हीच गती!"
महाराजांचे हेरखाते इतके तगडे होते की, शत्रूच्या पोटातली बातमी त्यांना मिळायची. आज महाराज असते, तर त्यांनी बहिर्जी नाईकांच्या हजारो डोळ्यांना या शहरांच्या अंधाऱ्या गल्ल्यांमध्ये पेरले असते. सीसीटीव्हीच्या आधी महाराजांची नजर तिथे पोहोचली असती आणि गुन्हा घडण्याआधीच गुन्हेगाराचा नायनाट झाला असता.
स्वतःला शिवरायांचे मावळे म्हणवून घेणाऱ्या तरुणांनो! कपाळावर चंद्रकोर आणि हातात भगवा झेंडा घेऊन नाचणे हे भक्तीचे प्रदर्शन आहे, पण शिवरायांचा विचार आचरणात आणणे हे 'जीवनदर्शन' आहे. तुम्ही प्रत्यक्ष जीवनात उपजीविकेसाठी काहीही करत असाल, पण उभ्या आयुष्यात एखाद्या जीवाचे जरी अपहरण थांबवण्यात यशस्वी झालात, तर याहून मोठे ते काय असणार आहे? हाच तर खरा पुरुषार्थ, बाकी सगळे व्यर्थ!
तुम्ही म्हणाल, "मी एकटा काय करू शकतो?" अरे, ज्या राजाने मूठभर मावळ्यांना घेऊन मोगलाईच्या समुद्राला बांध घातला, त्यांचे तुम्ही वारसदार आहात! या गुन्हेगारांविरुद्ध न्यायाधिष्ठित मार्गाने तुम्हाला संघटित होण्यापासून कोण अडवत आहे? संघटित होण्यापासून फक्त तीनच गोष्टी अडवू शकतात - अज्ञान, भीती किंवा अहंकार! आयाबायांना आणि मुलांना सुरक्षित ठेवण्यासाठी आपण या गोष्टींचा त्याग नाही करू शकत?
मानवी तस्करी हा एकट्याचा लढा नाही, तो एक 'एल्गार' आहे!
हे एक मोठे मायाजाल आहे. पैशाच्या हव्यासापोटी माणुसकी विकणारे हे राक्षस एकटे नसतात, त्यांची साखळी असते. मग तुमची साखळी का नाही?
जर तुम्ही स्वतःला मावळे म्हणत असाल, तर आज शपथ घ्या:
१. गुप्तहेर बना: आपल्या आजूबाजूला, रेल्वे स्टेशनवर, वस्तीत कुठेही संशयास्पद हालचाल दिसली, तर दुर्लक्ष करू नका.
२. संघटित व्हा: एकटा माणूस तोडला जाईल, पण 'जुडी' तोडणे कठीण असते. शिवरायांची शिकवण हीच होती - "मराठा तितुका मेळवावा". जर पोलीस यंत्रणा कमी पडत असेल, तर तरुणांनी आपली 'गस्त' पथके तयार करावीत.
३. शस्त्र नको, धाक हवा: तलवार उचलण्याची गरज नाही, पण तुमच्या डोळ्यातला अंगार इतका हवा की, कोणत्याही नराधमाची तुमच्या विभागात पाऊल टाकण्याची हिंमत झाली नाही पाहिजे.
४. अथक जनजागृती: कुणाला कितीही कंटाळवाणे वाटू द्या, पण शक्य तितक्या मार्गांतून जनजागृती करा.
शिवरायांनी स्वराज्य का निर्माण केले? केवळ सिंहासनासाठी नव्हे, तर रयतेच्या सुखासाठी आणि धर्माच्या (नीतिमत्तेच्या) रक्षणासाठी. आज जर आपण या मानवी तस्करीच्या राक्षसाला गाडू शकलो नाही, तर त्या रायगडावरच्या समाधीला आपण काय तोंड दाखवणार? दुर्बलांचे रक्षण करू न शकणाऱ्या दिखाऊ माणसांनी फक्त गड आणि किल्ले चढून तरी काय उपयोग?
ऊठ शिवभक्ता! आता नुसता संताप नको, तर संघर्ष हवा. जोवर या देशातील शेवटची मुलगी सुरक्षित घरी पोहोचत नाही आणि शेवटचे मूल तस्करीच्या जाळ्यातून मुक्त होत नाही, तोवर विश्रांती नाही. असा प्रण करणाऱ्या संघटना बनवा आणि त्या प्रामाणिकपणे, निष्कलंकपणे कार्यरत ठेवा.
ज्या दिवशी या महाराष्ट्रातील एकही मुलगी भीतीच्या सावटाखाली नसेल आणि एकही बाळ आईपासून तोडले जाणार नाही, तेव्हाच आपण गर्वाने म्हणू शकू की - "आम्ही त्या राजाचे मावळे आहोत, ज्याने स्त्रीच्या सन्मानासाठी तलवारी उपसल्या होत्या!"
हीच वेळ आहे सिद्ध करण्याची. तुमचे आयुष्य, तुमची ताकद आणि तुमची बुद्धी या नराधमांचा नाश करण्यासाठी आणि निष्पापांचे रक्षण करण्यासाठी समर्पित करा.

These days, the sun rises not with light, but amidst the darkness of heart-wrenching news. Open a newspaper, and the pages are stained with blood; scroll through social media, and you see humanity stripped bare. The abduction of an infant here, the auctioning of a sister there, and rackets pushing tender buds into the hell of prostitution! If reading this doesn't turn your blood into water, then understand this: we are merely walking corpses, alive but dead inside. Does our responsibility end with a two-day 'Candle March' status on social media?
In such moments, a single question strikes the core of the mind like a bolt of lightning—What if Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were here today?
What fate would he have dealt to these demons who run this bazaar of flesh, shame, and humanity?
Saint Ramdas Swami once said, "Shivrayanche aathvave roop" (Remember the form/nature of Shivaji Maharaj). But today, we must go beyond remembering his personal virtues and recall the social terror he struck in the hearts of criminals. And merely remembering isn't enough; we must recreate that very same dread—perhaps even more powerfully. Today's youth have strength in their wrists and intellect in their minds; all that is lacking is the will.
If Maharaj were here today, he wouldn't have waited for a police F.I.R. or allowed dates upon dates to pile up in court. For a King whose first rule of governance was that a woman is the nation's 'Goddess' and children its 'Wealth', he wouldn't have just sat watching this human trafficking or waiting for expert analysis. Even judges, in exceptional circumstances, have the liberty to decide based on 'Natural Law' beyond the written statutes.
In today's system, criminals walk free on bail. But if Maharaj were here, the brokers who traffic children, force them to beg, or sell women would have had their hands and legs severed and been displayed in the town square. A board would hang around their necks—"This is the fate of anyone who dares to look at the daughters of Swarajya with an evil eye!"
Maharaj's intelligence network was so robust that he knew what was cooking in the enemy's stomach. If he were here today, he would have planted the thousands of eyes of his spy chief, Bahirji Naik, in the dark alleys of these cities. Long before CCTV, Maharaj’s vision would have reached there, and the criminal would have been annihilated before the crime even occurred.
To the youth who call themselves Mavale (soldiers) of Shivaji Maharaj!
Dancing with a Chandrakor on your forehead and a saffron flag in your hand is a display of devotion, but bringing Shivaji Maharaj's thoughts into practice is a philosophy of life. You may do anything for a livelihood, but if in your entire life you succeed in stopping the abduction of even a single soul, what achievement could be greater? This is true manhood (Purusharth); everything else is futile!
You might say, "What can I do alone?" Oh, you are the heirs of the King who, with a handful of Mavale, built a dam against the ocean of the Mughal Empire! Who stops you from organizing against these criminals through lawful means? Only three things can stop you from uniting—Ignorance, Fear, or Ego. Can we not sacrifice these three for the safety of our mothers and children?
Human trafficking is not a lone battle; it is a war cry (Elgar)!
This is a massive web. These monsters who sell humanity for greed are not alone; they have a chain. Then why don’t you have yours?
If you call yourself a Mavala, take this oath today:
Become a Spy: If you see suspicious activity around you, at railway stations, or in slums, do not ignore it.
Unite: A single man can be broken, but a bundle is hard to snap. Shivaji Maharaj’s teaching was exactly this—"Maratha tituka melvava" (Unite as many Marathas/people as possible). If the police system falls short, the youth must form their own 'patrol' squads.
Not Weapons, but Terror: You don't need to pick up swords, but the fire in your eyes should be such that no demon dares to step into your neighbourhood.
Relentless Awareness: No matter how boring it seems to others, spread awareness through every possible medium.
Why did Shivaji Maharaj establish Swarajya? Not just for a throne, but for the happiness of his subjects and the protection of Dharma (Righteousness). If we cannot bury this demon of human trafficking today, how will we face that Samadhi at Raigad? What is the use of climbing forts if we are hollow people who cannot protect the weak?
Arise, Shivbhakta! Now, anger alone won't suffice; we need struggle.
Until the last girl in this country reaches home safely and the last child is freed from the web of trafficking, there shall be no rest. Build organizations with this vow and keep them working honestly and spotlessly.
The day when not a single girl in Maharashtra lives under the shadow of fear, and not a single baby is torn from its mother—only then can we proudly say, "We are the soldiers of that King who drew his sword for the honor of women!"
This is the time to prove it. Dedicate your life, your strength, and your intellect to destroying these demons and protecting the innocent.
